CocoPopup provides you with many options for closing the popup. You have a toggle available to enable or disable displaying the popup to the same visitor if the visitor has already closed it once. Below are the various popup closing options.

• Istant: This closing is set by default; the popup closes as soon as the visitor presses the close button.

• Countdown: this function allows you to set the closing of the popup with a countdown. You can choose: Seconds, Date and Date Round.

Seconds: This option is very useful for an advertising message. You can display the countdown seconds before the popup closes. Additionally, you can choose to set the close button to appear when the countdown ends, or you can automatically close the popup when the countdown finishes.

Date: This option allows you to set a real countdown by specifying a date. The countdown will display the days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until the popup closes. Additionally, you can still set a manual close button for the popup, meaning the popup can be closed even if the countdown has not yet finished. This option is very useful for displaying events or putting the site under maintenance. It is highly customizable.

Date Round: This option has the same capabilities as the ‘Date’ option but features a completely different, highly customizable design.

• Age Restriction: This popup closing logic allows you to restrict access to the site to only those who are over 18 years old. This option is very useful if your site needs to display content only to an adult audience. It allows you to obscure the site and show only the popup, which, through a sophisticated form, forces the visitor to select their date of birth and confirm that they are over 18 years old. If the date is correct, they will have access to the site; otherwise, it will return an error with a customizable message. Additionally, you have another button available for those under 18. By pressing it, the user can be redirected to another page of your choice or any other desired link. You can set a customizable welcome message for those who are over 18 and have access to your site. Below are the available options.

Day: customizable day field test.

Year: customizable year field test.

Select the language for the months: you can choose the language in which to display the months in the date of birth form.

Errors: you can customize the error message (form not completed).

Incorrect age: you can customize the incorrect age message.

Welcome: you can enable or disable the welcome message if the user has correctly completed the age verification form, proving they are over 18 years old. This message can be customized to your liking.

Enable Button 1: you can enable or disable button one, where you can customize the text and any redirect link.

Button 2: you can customize the text of button 2 to confirm that you are over 18 once you have completed the form.

Closure Popup: you can set a closing delay once you confirm that you are over 18 years old before closing the popup, the time needed to show a welcome message on your site.

• Opacity: This option allows you to apply an opacity effect while the popup closes. You can adjust the duration of the closing time and the opacity time.
• Click on the window: You can close the popup by clicking on your site window.
• Scroll: You can have the popup close on scroll.
• Automatic Time: You can make the popup close after a certain amount of time.
• Blocked: You can block the popup, this way it cannot be closed.
• Class: You can close the popup by clicking an element with a specific class.
• Redirect: You can close the popup by redirecting the visitor to a page of your choice.
